This is still drinking nicely, a bit to my amazement. Ripe blue and black fruit with layers of developed complexity (raisin, date, fig, cedar, mushroom). Tannins are soft now, a little bitter acid on the medium length finish. Throws a heavy sediment, so decant.

Like most mid to high-end Suzana Balbo wines, this one delivers. Bursting with black and red fruit on the nose, the rich wine has a long finish and persists for hours in the glass. Fairly priced at $27 for what it delivers.
