Soft tannins. Really integrated (let it sit more years than I thought good for it…oops). Still has lenty of fruit. Not as sweet as it was when younger. Not very complex or structured, but highly quaffable. Easy going. A little green pepper on the nose but black pepper on the palate. Subtle because dominated by the dark fruit.

We were given this bottle as a gift. It retails for around $20. The wine looks violet colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells and tastes like black pepper. It's a one-note wine, with a grainy texture and a short/medium finish. Bottom line, any wine received as a gift is a good wine.

Soft tannins. Nice and easy to drink. Not much depth or flavor. Nothing wrong with the wine's structure.

Peppery and acidic, black fruit, especially blackberries and currants. There is a nice bite with the tannins and a little bit of grape kool aid powder aftertaste, in a good sense.

Good, but not standout good. A little more fruit-forward than to my liking. Could see how it might improve with some age.

Lots of vanilla oak on the nose along with floral, red berries. Cola, jammy tangy black fruit, strawberry and new oak on the palate. Far too oaky and jammy for my taste, even when paired w spicy Korean fusion tacos.

Bright red rim of a young wine. Strawberries and a sweet floral perfume on the nose. Leads with tartness and a light white pepper bite. Black cherry, blackberry, and soft vanilla tannins give way to silky oak, more dark fruits, and ferrous minerality.

Dark brick color and perfumy, cassis nose. Flavors of cassis and mulberry in the attack with honeysuckle in the finish. The soft tannins were well balanced with the fruits and alcohol. Medium body. Medium short finish.

A Taste of True Myth : Garnet color with aromatic and appealing cassis, blackberry, and spice aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied with shows a good balance of fruit, acidity and tannins with appealing and delicious black cherry, cassis, blackberry, and dark chocolate flavors with a lingering finish. Sourced from six different vineyards in the Paso Robles AVA. Very good value in this food friendly Cab for an SRP of $24

Tasted this 2013 along side their 2012 vintage, and in my opinion the 2013 is better. Both are a QPR for the $23/ea paid. A nice Cabernet Sauvignon aroma jumps out at you, and the taste follows up nicely. Smooth balance of alcohol and acidity, with soft tannins.
