I love it. It's a total dead-ringer for an SQN grenache. I've had many SQN grenaches, and I wouldn't be able to identify this blind as anything other than SQN. I was surprised how open it was for business, pop-and-pour. It has the lovely white pepper and minerality on the finish that the best SQN and Alban have. But it's still very juicy and fruit-driven that it begs for game meats or braised meat dishes. The danger with this wine …

Inspired by Jonahfactor’s review I opened a bottle for Father’s day. Expressive on pop, but closed down with time in the decanter. Very enjoyable still with loads of pepper on the palate, but I maintain you want to sit on this vintage for a bit longer than most previous ones.

My previous TN from Feb 2025 suggested waiting another year or two on this one. But, actually, this bottle was singing tonight. Decanted for several hours. A rose-petal inflected bouquet. Brimming with red and black fruits with a savory, spicy finish. Almost a complete meal in a glass. Drink now (with a decant) to 2034. Outstanding.

Wow! This is an amazing Grenache. Layers of fruit with a long finish. For a young wine it’s drinking great.

I had to try one. Plush, pure fruit, ripe black cherry and spice, vanilla towards the finish. Give this a couple more years to integrate. Lots of upside, it’s going to be a stunner.

A V-Day treat. Decanted for four hours. A deeply intriguing offering that needs a few more years in the bottle to reach its thrilling potential. A heavy dose of Asian spices and cedar upfront right now. The round tannins crowd out the fruit on the palate. But this hints at being a glorious wine in a few years. Stash some in the cellar. Drink 2026 to 2035. Outstanding.

Rich dark color, extracted and ripe grenache. Very fruit forward but not with the strawberry notes that you get with other Grenaches. It has a darker fruit profile. It doesn't taste like other single varietal Grenaches I've had from this area. Nevertheless it was of excellent quality and complexity. I feel like this is ready to drink now.
