Very intense aromas of decaying mineral deposits. Some wet wool, maybe damp dog? Almost chenin-esque. Not a lot of fruit, but something sweet and floral in the background. Sharply acidic but a rich and spicy mid palate gives way to a fairly long finish. Downward slope for sure, but still holding up nicely.

Super intense diesel aromas, especially pronounced on day 2. Stones, slate, touch of something sweet and lightly honeyed. Candied citrus peel. Viscous. Finish is bone dry and sharp. Minerality is prominent on the palate. Would think this is the best it is gonna get. Another bargain at less than $20 when purchased back in 2011.

Dry with searing acidity. Plenty of lime and kerosine notes in both nose and palate. There is a perception of weight behind the flavour profiles which made the shortish length very surprising.

I'm usually very cautious when drinking wines from big corporate organizations. But no need to worry here. This is an excellent example of how classic Aussie Riesling should be. Looking a little more golden than the last bottle. Lime, petrol aromas. Certainly a touch more developed - even some vegetal notes in there. Bone dry finish, lime fruit, with just a touch of sweetness on the mid palate. Racy acidity to balance the creamy weight. Superb value. Still drinking well …

Pale green colour with a nose of lemon, bit of lime, and the classic petrol note. This is a dry Riesling and was a bit cold at first. Its fairly weighty, maybe a bit creamy. There is enough acidity though, and the finish zings through. Decided to give this a few hours and broached again the next night, it was certainly softer but i'm not sure if it was better for that. One of those where your not sure what …

This ticks all the boxes for a textbook dry Riesling with petrol aromas and citrus fruit tanginess. However, its sheer weightness of flavour in all departments lacks subtlety and there is something about its heavy creaminess that reminds me of an overoaked New World Chardonnay. It was much more enjoyable on the second evening so maybe a couple more years will see it come together.

Pale gold colour. Aromas of petrol, lime and wet stones. Palate is bursting with lime. Finish is very long with some more savoury notes towards the end. Not that complex yet. Good.

Petrol and spices on the nose. Long dry flavour, spicy but dry and fresh at the same time with a weighty Aussie finnish. Not so convincing straight out of the fridge, but coming up to room temp with some air in the bottle it really improved.

Like the first bottle profound lime and petrol aromas on the nose. On the palate intense lime, lemon backed up by crisp acidity and bone dry. This wine is growing on me. I'm beginning to appreciate the dryness of this wine. Maybe it's just that summers [finally] arrived, and that crisp dryness is just the ticket for a warm summers evening. Lovely!

Strong and intense lime fruit aromas, plenty of minerality and characteristic gasoline notes. Palate is absolutely bone dry; wasn't expecting the dryness for a 12% ABV New World Riesling. Like sucking water off rocks. Lively acidity. Very austere. But seamless. I reckon this'll age for a few years.

On the nose intense aromas of lime, lemon and that classic Riesling petrol. On the palate lime and lemon continue to dominate. The wine is bone dry with crisp acidity and very refreshing. A very well made wine but could be just a tad sweeter for my taste.
