Tasted at winery hosted by Domenico's niece Stephanie. Pale ruby in appearance with fresh cherry, rose bush, allspice on the nose. Medium body, medium acid, medium+ tannin with youthful flavors of tart cherry, cranberry, and thyme. Lifted and bright, pure expression of Nebbiolo fruit.

Stevige wijn van de Nebbiolo druif uit Langhe. Goeie bite, veel licht rood fruit, zeer soepel bij het drinken. Beetje stroeve tannines, zachte zuren, zuurstok, lichte rooksmaak, lucht van sigarenkistjes en bospaddenstoelen. Opvallend lichte afdronk. Zal het goed doen bij gegrild vlees, maar ook bij zachte zalm bijv.

Prince - Affordable Nebbiolo tasting (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : Aromas of caramel, slight confected red cherry, spice, biscuit and floral top notes. In the mouth the wine is juicy and the cherry fruit flavours are joined by spice. Tannins are, compared with other wines in this tasting, quite muted. Hmm. Perhaps a different wine making approach?
