Seemed past peak, which is odd for this wine. Maybe a bad bottle. DJV

Dark red; rich aromas and flavors of dark fruit, spices and some oak; edges are turning a little orange; clean on the palate, round, soft, easy drinking, medium tannins, good level of acidity; rich dry finish.

Oeil rubis fonc�. Il y a une petite touche animale au nez d�s le d�part qui va bien s'int�grer avec le temps & apporter un petit qqchose d'agr�able. Les fruits rouges fonc�s & les �pices forment un ensemble agr�able. En bouche, l'ensemble est bien rond, facile � boire, les tannins sont pr�sents & bien int�gr�s. Tr�s bien

Decent Bordeaux from Pomerol. Smoothness provided by the merlot with a bit of spice from the cab franc. There's a touch of green vegetable and mustiness but this is receding with some air time. Not overly complex but there is some nice dark fruit, decent acidity and fairly tame tannins.

Took a long time to open up. Day 3 tasted the best. Well made. Great balance. Good depth. Black fruit

Mise en carafe une trentaine de minutes avant de le d�guster. � l'oeil le vin est violet tr�s fonc�. Au nez, le premier ar�me que je note est le bois, ensuite la cerise, la vanille & les �pices. Avec le temps, le fruit semble prendre un peu plus de place. Il y a un brun d'aust�rit� dans l'ensemble. Une touche v�g�tale semble aussi se d�velopper (tomates �pic�es). Nez tr�s agr�able. En bouche, l'attaque est puissante & les tannins sont eux …

Garnet color with full but running legs. It smells like strawberry, cranberry, and spice - but they fit well together. The taste mixes mineral, stoniness, cranberry, red currant, and rose. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has a sharp, angular texture with a long finish.

Very nice wine. Dark ruby colour, expressive nose of dark berries, slight bitterness. Well balanced on the palate with flavours consistent with the nose. Graphite near the end, medium length. Merlot, Cab franc, Cab Sauv. Typical Bdx, drinking well now but could be kept a while more. very good QPR.

Tr�s beau nez, couleur tr�s mauve fonc� pr�sque noir, surprenant pour un assemblage a 75% merlot. belle mati�re en bouche, un peu ass�chant mais pas d�plaisant. Je pense que 4 � 5 ans en cave vont aider � arrondir le tout.

Bu c�te � c�te avec le 2006 qui �tait beaucoup plus souple que celui-ci. Pas de nez chocolat� en 2008, mais tout l'�quilibre habituel des derniers mill�simes. Carafage requis pour arrondir les coins.
