Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30% in oak for 3 months Transparent garnet color that slowly leads to a clear white rim. Although I debated my intution in the beginning as to whether the merlot truly took center stage, but I finally conceded that the intense gooseberry flavors of the merlot pack a punch followed by a slight spice and and forest background. The palate is incredibly smooth and velvety with nice round tannins and a nice finish. Really enjoyable! 3.5/5

3 months in oak, Merlot 70%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30% The merlot shows through on the nose bright and clear wtih plum, cherry and light clove notes. Soft and supple in the mouth with silky tannins and fine finish. Miclk chocolate coems to mind with plum an cherry making their way from the nose to the palate. Soft cinnamon and clove round out the finish. Fun wine well made. 3.5/5
