Drinking quite nicely now, into its drinking window. Characteristic left bank Bordeaux with tobacco and cedar box notes, dark fruit flavors that are rather subdued. Nice integrated mouthfeel. Not terribly exciting, but a good everyday Bordeaux wine for $20. I think this will improve a bit, and will wait another year to drink the next bottle.

Based on reading other comments and just popping mine, I will confirm this is not getting any better. Would not hang onto much longer, drink up. Properly cellared. Dark garnet color. Finish falls flat after about 15 secs. Almost no fruit left, dry tannins still very present. Earthy tones. Leather.

Not decanted: Needed about 30 minutes of air to begin to show. Currant nose, some plum, whiff of varnish, and then leather. Tannins are surprisingly unresolved and finish dry. It's a pleasant quaff. The fruit is thinning and won't outlast the tannins, so my advice is to drink up now.
