20c: 1 1/2 hour decant in crystal: clean, slightly bricked ruby red: earthy nose of must, barn, ham, herbs (sage, mint): firmly structured, with vigorous, dusty tannins, bright acidity and good fruit: smoked ham, schist, hint of metal, dried cherries and raspberries, herbs, funghi: tense and compelling (can still cellar a few years): helluva QPR: 18
