Very Good++ See my Jan. 2022 TN. Similar. Notably 'natural' in profile, nice zippy red fruits with a perfect touch of VA and bit of feral funk, but just a bit. Importer: The Source 14.5% abv (seemed closer to 13%) Empty bottle weight: 611g

bangin' out of a magnum with peking duck. murky cloudy but super juicy berries and no VA/brett. the famille dutraive wines are a little hit and miss for me but this one was a hit

Slightly murky ruby red, hint of volatile acidity initially, some mushroom-y earthiness, and deliciously fruity and funky. Not everyone’s cup of Beaujolais but I love this wine!

I loved this from PnP over a couple of hours with and without the meal. Very Good++ / Excellent- It shows just a slight effervescence and just a touch of VA in a manner that's pleasing rather than challenging. Wild red berries, darker fruits, spices, nice energy and drive but not nervy, just enough acid so it had cut but wasn't tart. I've read that these can show bottle variation in another vintage. Not really my style as preference leans to more polished but not too bad. Plenty of sweet/juicy/tangy red fruit with savory edges. Texturally both effervescent and syrupy. Brown ruby color with a clear rim and a very hazy/murky center. Reminds me of a barrel sample. Update- totally undrinkable night two after a pump. Nothing but wet cornflakes.
