Lovely from the get-go. On the fruity side, with lovely dark berry and floral notes. Really nice QPR.

Dark fruits, slight earth and minerality. Nicely balanced and easy anytime drinker. Not bad QPR.

Dark fruit, slight minerality, smooth with balanced acid. Like others have stated, better on day 2. Not up to par with winemakers Two Vintners label but at this price point a very acceptable WA Syrah.

Oak and vanilla. I capped it and left it overnight. Amazing transformation. Some earth. Some fruit. Old world tasting. Barrel has receded. Leave for 2-5 years.

First day opened, it was much as the first bottle.. a little brutish and rough. Then I kept half the bottle recorked and in the cellar for three days and the transformation was amazing. Huge bouquet of fruit and spice and much better manners on the palate as it relaxes with the extra oxygen. Followed for two nights open. Light, dusty ruby red color, about 60% opaque, no sediment. A big, bruising, and little bit boozy, daily-drinker level Syrah that still shows nice single vineyard character, intrigue, and quality. However, I’m not convinced there’s any benefit to aging. 5+10+15+7= 87

P&P. Lots of oak and vanilla, very fruit forward. Needs time to integrate better. Drink 2018-2025.

Really enjoyed the front end of the wine which was relatively delicate for a syrah. However the finish was terrible... not in a mass produced kind of way, it just had some nasty traits on the back end. It seemed to subside a bit with air, but never vanished. I would normally chalk it up as a bad bottle, but it was a twist off- so no cork fault here. I have another so hopefully it will be better.
