This was my favorite at the 2012 NW Wine Summit event. Waited 5 more years and it was actually better when open a few days later. Lots of caramel and toasted notes. These guys produce some of the best Ice wines in the West

WSET Level 2 Class 8 (BCIT Downtown Campus, Vancouver, BC) : Tasted blind. Clear, deep amber, obvious viscosity. Nose is clean, pronouced intensity, with incedible purity of fruit: ripe fresh apricots, apricot jam, lemon peel, no apparent non-fruit/botrytis character. Palate is luscious, medium+ acid, medium+ body, flavours of ripe apricots, pineapple. Texture is viscous, and finish is medium+. Good to very good quality, but fruit is somewhat "one-note".

Very crisp. Refreshing.

Nice enough rose esp for decent price, and from Canada - nose is light cherry fruit. Palate is verging a tad off dry for me - otherwise medium bodied, light on acid. Lots of bright cherry notes with some thicker, honey like quality - subtle but there. Some subtle grapefruit mixed in there that adds a slight bitter note - this is all good - simple and just fine on the deck or with a variety of food.
