Little past prime, but still solid nose and very drinkable.

No formal note. Solid now, but don't see improvement in the future. Drink up as there's some complexity now and still good fruit.

Floral nose with cherry in the front. Notes of spice and vanilla in the mid with a clean mid finish. Wonderful with Ciopino.

i had to savory this one .... at first i thought, a bit of a disappointment .... then i took my time and really paid attention to the structure and palette and found it way more delicious than the first hurried taste ... a classic red hills pinot ... well worth the price and cellar cost

Very good Red Hills flavor and character, but a bit thinner than i would have preferred. I remembered it being more structured than it was, but that was from a couple/3 years ago when i tasted before buying. Drank with whole wheat pasta and thin tomato sauce ... a good combo. It don't see this '06 lasting much longer, so the last bottle should go quickly

Wine rocked with chicken and gravy. Beautfiul red fruit and no new-world excess...just new-world charm.

Ruby red, somewhat transparent. Strong nose of red berries ad damp cellar, hint of magic marker. Clean earth, interesting wild berry flavor, touch of currant. Long smoky finish.

Very pleased to find this bottle showing so well. My highlight was the incredibly expressive nose, right away I new this was going to show very well. Lots of dark fruits and even some chocolate, with enough acidity to keep the ship steady, a big mouthful for a WV pinot.

Dundee Hills Passport Weekend; 4/17/2010-4/18/2010 (Dundee Hills Oregon) : Nutmeg, and dark cherries show on the nose along with a faint citrus note. The wine is very well integrated at this point, with some good acidity showing up on the finish. Delicious dark fruits contribute well on the mid palate, and some apple flavors show later. Everything dries out fully, and there is a hint of heat, but everything is so well integrated at this point that it doesn't cause …

Similar to my previous tasting. This has put on some weight though, in a good way.

I had this wine at the tasting room about 9 months ago and was in love with it. It was not showing as well today, the nose was huge with ripe red grape and stem, cherry and strawberry and a light cocoa powder flavor. In the mouth this carries that beautiful, seductive full-body that high-end Oregon 06's carry, feels so nice just to roll around in the mouth. Grape skin, sour cherry, sour strawberry and chalky soil hit hard followed …

Wonderful aromas of cherry, blackberry and earth. The flavors of cherry, tobacco, spice and blueberry flow with good acidity. The finish is well integrated and very nice.

Very nice, soft medium bodied wine. The wine has wonderful purity of fruit and displays vibrant acidity that will allow it to age well. We decanted with a vinturi aerator to enhance the bouquet. The wine displays strawberry, candied cherry and spice. Very nicely done.

Tasting the Willamette Valley--Take 2; 7/9/2008-7/10/2008 (Willamette Valley, OR) : Dark ruby color. Nose of black cherry spice. Similar palate with some earthiness and velvety tannins. Great finish. My favorite of the flight.
