L'Oliveto Pinot Noir

This light-to-medium ruby-colored wine offers scents of black cherries, dried apricots, allspice, cocoa and Graham cracker crust. Medium-bodied, fresh, judiciously oaked and without obtrusive alcohol (13.8%), it delivers flavors congruent with the aromas. Fine-grained tannins lend some structure to the solid mid-palate and medium-length finish. This is an enjoyable Pinot that sells at an attractive price. Enjoy it over the next five years. Popped, poured and tasted over a two-hour period, it required minimal aeration for full expression. Drink now-2029.

Pure fruit, Blackberry, something high toned, spices. Round and soft, but good tannic structure on the back and sweet acidity.Some chocolately notes.
