The Wine Experience Viognier Pear Valley Vineyard

The Wine Experience, Monterey (The Wine Experience (Monterey, CA)) : Pale straw color. Elevated intensity, youthful floral aromas of white flowers, ripe peach, and overripe papaya. The aromas are clearly terpenic, but somewhat indistinct. On the palate, dry, with medium plus body (a hint of oily viscosity), elevated alcohol 13.5% (actually 14.2%), medium acid, and elevated phenolic bitterness - a very nice clean grapefruit-pith bitterness. The florals linger a bit on the medium-length finish, but overall flavor concentration is medium-minus. …
