Acidic and fresh but without overwhelming. Wonderful QPR.

Complex, layered nose. Grapefruit pith, cinnamon and saline notes. Touches of mint. Tamlyn Currin's white chocolate note makes sense! Another herbal note I cannot put my finger on... shiso leaf maybe!? Burst of citrus and fleshy white peach on the textural, medium to full bodied palate. Great tension. Really persistent on the delicately biscuity finish. Drink now or hold. Seriously good value. Would like to revisit with other vintages.

Medium lemon. Honey, tropical fruit nose. Lime, pear, honey, menthol palate. Quite complex, medium bodied, long finish. Excellent wine. New to me, not clear on longevity but I see that the pundits predict up until 2032.

Exotic, fruit-dominated on the nose with clementine, oranges, provencials herbs, lime juice and green tea. Second pour also gave some fresh strawberries. On the palate the wine has an incredible body with citrus fruit (clementine and lime) playing a significant role. There is a shy spiciness lurking in the background (cajun?) accompanied by balancing acid. Some stems notes as well. A rather complex and full bodied Chenic Blanc that focuses more on fruit than acidity. Not sure if this is …

Another exquisite vintage of this outstanding South African Chenin Blanc. Fruit comes from high elevation vineyards. Light golden color. Aromas of pear, white flowers, lanolin and a fresh mountain breeze. The palate is complex with flavors of pear, lemon/lime, orange zest, peach, melon and fresh herbs. Long lasting and mineral filled finish. Gripping acidity and a lovely creamy texture. Totally elegant!
