Beautiful. Slight barnyardy funk. Red fruits. Soft texture over savory notes. Long finish.

This wine is showing intense Burgundian, barnyardy funk. Gorgeous. Deep. Time to drink this up.

A real pleasure to drink. The fruit opens and becomes expressive with time. The balance is spot on and it is well structured. Nose consistent with fruit - red to start and finishing with dark fruit and there are nice spicy notes as well.

Spectacular tonight. Plum, cherry, wet earth, nutmeg, and white pepper on the powerful nose. Color is dark. Palate is balanced with an earthy component without losing elegance. There's depth without weight. This is an outstanding example of what Mencia can do in the Ribeira Sacra. Long, beautiful finish.

Let this breathe—a lot! Fantastic wine, but it needs time to go from thin to rich and very flavorful.

I like this a lot, but I’m not experiencing what I expected. Friends and others have praised this wine highly. I find it to be beautiful, but a bit light and short. Hopefully this is just an off bottle. Sweet candied and sweet spice notes with red fruit and a lovely super silky slippery texture. Beautiful, just not enough of it. Very hopeful for the next few bottles.

Really explosive stuff here. Intensely aromatic- pomegranate, black raspberry, black pepper, damp soil. Super buoyant, soft tannins, mouthwatering acidity. Mencia and souson, Raul Perez hot.
