GLAD THAT I HAD BUT THE ONE BOTTLE AS NOT WORTH THE PRICE. ON THE MINERAL END OF THE SPECTRUM.

12.2% listed alcohol. Open since last night, served today at about 68 degrees. This is a markedly better showing than the bottle last last year, which after tasting this current bottle, the one from last year had to be flawed. This bottle today is more similar to the favorable note I posted about a year ago. There is a certain glycerine feel to the wine, but laid over that is enough drying mineral and wet stone that it all works …

Burg Dinner (CA and France--Served Blind!) (Murray Casa) : I am going to call this bottle flawed. It came from my cellar and I selected it based on my last note I logged on the wine: I thought it would compete. However, something was off, as it seemed dumb, perhaps even oxidized? A bit of butter with unripe pineapple. Disappointing. I have one more bottle that I trust will be much better, as the wine showed nothing at all last …

California Vs Burgundy Blind (Frank Murray's Casa) : Served blind. Tight nose of graham crackers and Gatorade. Odd, weak palate with some grip and butterscotch notes. This bottle was a mess. Best guess was Cali.

Mineral and citrus off-set with a bit of creamy glycerine, fennel & a light touch of heat in the finish.

Dennis,BT and Jimmy enjoyed this with me. THe previous bottling of this I had was a disjointed mess. This was very good. lemony/citrus upfront and then appley hints behind it. I agree with other notes, that the lack of oak is surprising, especially given the appearance of the wine. Enjoyable.

Wind Gap, Thackrey, La Spinetta, Altare, OV (Futo), Foley : Light golden in color. This was my first time trying this wine and I was looking forward to it. While I am not a big Cal Chard fan (I prefer the cut of Chablis), I was sure it would be well made. It did not disappoint on that quality, but still lacked a bit of something to make this a top tier cal Chard for me. Nice citrus on the …

This is spectacular! Super fresh and stony with complex fruit and deep rivers of flavor, which Frank describes perfectly ("key lime pie, lemon, and spearmint.") Tannic grip emerges with air, powdering the finish with stone dust. I think this will be better still over the next 2-3 years if not longer. Chablis like fun from California, with an ocean breeze.

Tart green apple on nose. Rich and round texture, lovely golden delicious apple. Very nice.

I was underwhelmed by this wine. Maybe my expectatiopns were too high. Reminded me more of an oaked Sauv Blanc. Hopefully a flawed bottle.

Cloudy with some crystal precipitates. Plenty of lemon curd and tropical fruits with oaky spicy notes on finish- I would describe this as a Meursault like chard. Opulent but not over the top. Well balanced. Agree with others that this improved over time. As an aside, these guys need a new graphic artist- the label art is awful...

Nice creaminess on the nose with notes of lemon peel, green apple and a slight mineral character. Seemless in the mouth, great balance. Definitely needed some time to open, my last glass was the best. Overall great chardonnay.

I think this might have been an off bottle as previous bottles have been better. This one had some green notes on the finish.

Enjoyed with pasta, finished in olive oil and garden tomatoes and basil, with some parmesean. Listed alcohol 13.7%. My second bottle in the past 6 weeks, with this bottle being tasted at home. Lemon oil, lime, some creme brulee but I won't call this wine sweet. It has some lemon chiffon/pineapple type edges that feel ripe but it finishes with fennel, green apple and nice acidity. We drank the entire bottle over dinner and the wine doesn't leave me feeling …

12.2% alcohol. Key lime pie, lemon and spearmint...I can still taste the wine as I write the note. Loads of texture, liquid minerality, slate and a tangerine finish. A rich core of fruit but this is all about lots of flavor. Delicious.

13.7% alcohol. Zesty center with a pineapple and tropical note, also showing a meyer lemon core. If my notes are accurate, I do not believe there is any new wood on this wine. And, a mix of Gap's Crown and Obsidian vineayrd fruit.

Light to medium yellow. A little bit cloudy. Fresh aromas of apple, pear, citrus, almond, and cream. Medium body, lively vibrant acidity. Medium length finish.

Parker uses "opulent" "flashy" and "flamboyant" in the review for this wine. True that, but plenty of pebbles, straw, and lemon curd on the nose and palate to keep it interesting with white fruits taking over the back half. I can't put this down, it's yummy. I'm getting drunk! Yikers!!! Must be good shit. Seriously, though, I really like the richness of the overall package without excess palate weight, the Parker descriptors are all apt but the oak is just …
