Black fruit and floral nose. Medium rich palate with forward and round black fruit. Oak notes and well integrated. Not a ton of flavor complexity but the mouthfeel has nuance and elegance. Don't see much upside from here.

It took over 1.5 hours for this to open up. Initially, it had a perfum nose that I did not find appealing. Then all of a sudden, it all came together into a balanced solid wine. This did not show the classic syrah characteristics. I do not believe this will improve, so drink up.

Forward nose is full of black fruits, smoke and toasty notes. Palate is richly concentrated going from crunchy to creamy in texture. Loads of herbs and spice accent the polished fruit. Well balanced with acidity providing lift and persistence into a medium-long finish. Very nicely done - young but drinking quite well today.

I liked this at the winery. Drank about 6 months later and thought that it was really unimpressive. Oak was overwhelming.

Flawless wine, fruit forward, sweet and seductive, with a more full body than the cote de lune. It is fantastic, and a wine i would be proud to serve anyone.
