Medium ruby. From the beginning, this fellow was surprisingly super. Refined — and yet expressive and driven. Gentle tannins framing hints of white pepper. Lovely minerality. Fine balance, with acid backbone. Impressive length. Unfortunately, this was our last; but we would not hesitate saving this for three or four more years. Extremely enjoyable over three nights.
