PnP. This wine is all about earth & cola, and cola & earth. These are the aromas that hit me out of the glass, and these are the main flavors that hit my palate. The palate also revealed some dark red fruits and a fair amount of pepper and spice, all offset by a solid dose of acidity. Good structure with fairly big Pinot...presented with dark cherry fruit, nuanced with hints of nutmeg, white pepper. Typical of Russian River with ripe juicy fruit. Paired beautifully with Asian styled salmon with bold flavors.
