Autry Cellars Malbec

Not decanted, consumed over ~ 1 1/2 hours. Somewhat translucent red with a rusty tinge in the glass. Young and a little grapey (slightly off-dry?), gently cooked red fruits, decent acid. labeled at a very reasonable 13.9%. A little idiosyncratic, speaking more of Paso than of Malbec to me, but an interesting and enjoyable bottle nonetheless. This would probably benefit from a little time sideways to take see if its youthful edge settles down.
