Drinking extremely well right now, very surprised and pleased and holding up much better then anticipated. Paired at a Chaine induction dinner with roasted quail at Mimosa Grill in Charlotte NC and this was a near perfect match. Mature but does not feel over the hill at all - would definitely recommend drinking any remaining holdings now. Very dark red, soft mouth feel, completely integrated and pleasant medium long aftertaste. Nose of some initial light barnyard funk which quickly blew …

Smoke, toast has integrated nicely, plum, great dark cherry/plum rich fragrance, surprisingly good for an 07.

I prefer a softer Pinot and this was very "un-07ish" for my palate. Not a bad wine, just a bit big for an 07 which is a WV vintage I really love

Jammy and flavorful. Lots of cherry with hints of leather and a soft earthiness that lingers on the palate. A very nice young Pinot!

Great nose. Metallic, hollow midpalate and finish. There are much better 07 Oregon pinots out there at this price point.

Good old Arborbrook. Medium weight, smoke, leather, cherry and strawberry, light smoke and black cherry nose. Great food wine.

Got this bottle at the Willamette Valley winery's tasting room for $35 and drank with racks of lamb grilled on the BBQ with Kosher salt, freshly-cracked pepper, and cumin powder. The nose is classic Oregon Pinot: plenty of earth, spice, and red fruit. Up front, the ripe red fruit is prevelant, especially the black sour cherries, raspberries, plums, and strawberries. The white pepper, terrior, and oak follows closely behind the fruit. The finish is very smooth and elegant and lingers …

Our local grocery coop has a semi-annual wine sale. Mostly it is ho-hum but there is usually a gem or two in the mix. This Pinot is priced at $18 before case discount, a bit less than half off suggested retail. But as the SO likes to say, she makes too much money to drink okay wine. Pop and pour, the first sips put it in the lean, fruit challenged end of the 2007 OR spectrum. By the end of …

Oregon Wine Country Tasting (Willamette Valley, OR) : Rather thin and acidic. A touch of that signature leather, and light strawberry and cherry flavors. Missing something...

Tasting with Erin from Glunz at Bionda. Light strawberries, rose petals. Light bodied with nice acidity. Nothing special but nothing to complain about.

Winegrower's notes - A blend of Dijon Clone 777, Coury Clone, and Dijon Clone 115, this beautiful cuveé is deep, dark and luscious. The wine greets you with a complex bouquet full of earth, smoke and pipe tobacco. A first taste confers a foundation of blackberry and blueberry fruits with tones of leather and high notes of rosemary. The finish is smoky with hints of malted chocolate. This wine will age beautifully for another six - eight years. We recommend …

Glunz Wines Winter Portfolio tasting (union league club, chicago IL) : nose: soft and earth driven nose with brown spices, coffee beans, and bits of dark plums taste: elegant feel with soft tones of earth, brown spices, and bits of dark plums and cherries. Good acidity to compliment this overall: a very nice wine that has a soft and elegant side. A perfect food pinot
