Stephen & Walker Trust Winery Limited Sauvignon Blanc Dry Creek Valley

Nice wine. Nice expression of fruit and well balanced with acidity. Somewhere in the middle but closer to the ruby red grapefruit style than the talc/grassy style on the nose. A very good wine with our salad and panini dinner.

This had a great nose, pineapple meets honeydew melon, maybe a bit of watermelon in there too. Very fruit and delicious smelling. Initially this was served to cold, some nice flavors show initially but there was no finish. As this warmed up (and saw more air) this got a bit fruitier, and bit longer, and despite the 14.2% abv on the label this seemed somewhat restrained and balanced. A very nice wine, very fresh almost delicate.
