In der Nase immer noch mit recht deutlicher (Salz-)Popcorn-Reduktion, mit Luft auch etwas animalisch. Dazu Chardonnay-typisch etwas Aubergine, außerdem reife gelbe Zitrus-Früchte. Vor allem mit Luft deutlich maritim hell-steinig. Am Gaumen wirkt das auffallend schlank, steinig, zitrisch. Mördersäure, allerdings gut ausbalanciert durch sowohl mineralischen Kick als auch animierende Bitternote (erinnernd an Zitrus-Schalen). Auch hier noch etwas minimal animalisch-reduktiv, ich mag das so aber. Es entwickelt sich mit der Zeit ein sehr schöner, eher fest-knackiger und sehr heller Steinobst-Biss. Lang, anhaltend, …

Good intensity, but it lacks complexity. I think the QPR is on the negative side. For the same money you can have a better bourgogne if you're into chardonnay. Let alone whites from other regions.

Medium intense and developing aromas of peach, lemon, butter, almonds, butterscotch.
