Marichel Vineyards Viognier

Huge fresh nose of apricots, honeysuckle and butter. A mouth of peaches and marmalade with a milky texture. Long finish of orange blossom. Perhaps needs a little more acid but amazingly fresh flavours. A big hit and puts most other viogniers in the shade.

Light Golden in Colour, Aromas of Zest Flowers, fruits. Reminds me of a Ripe Sauvignon Blanc, opening up with Candied Orange Peel. Day 2, Floral Notes more pronuncned with a zest lime component. Taste: Light to Medium Body great acidity. Reminds me again of a Super Ripe Sauvignon Blanc and not so much a warmer climate Viognier. Can taste the Alc when served warmer. Good fruit.
