A nice and tangy Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles, California. Showing black fruits with tobacco, chocolates, coffee, spices, light oak and vanilla. Dry on the palate and fruit forward with medium acidity. Easy drinking and a good everyday wine. Good by itself or with food. Good party wine, too. 13.9% alcohol by volume. 88 points. $14.

Total Wine was pushing this a few weeks ago so I bit. Decanted for 30 minutes and paired with lasagna. Deep ruby color. Red fruit on the nose and palate. A somewhat lighter body than expected for a cab. Medium body with medium(-) tannins and acidity. A decent cab but didn't seem very well balanced. It drank more like a PN. Maybe just too young.
