Manousakis Syrah Nostos

Nice powerful wine from the "Rhone Rangers of Crete". A favourite.

On the nose: Rubber, burnt, acetone, meat, chemicals, motor failure On the palate: Burnt, rubber, high acidity Medium + finish

Nose of this is all about bad “sour wine”/vinegar, mixed with sweet raisins and heavily burnt rubber. No matter how much swirling one does. Palate shows sticky and overly sweet and jammy, hot, over ripe new world heavy extracted styled fruit, with a piercing unpleasant acidity. Really bad stuff. Avoid!
