Citrus, apple and exotic fruit (pineapple, passion fruit), mineral, salty. In it’s drinking window.

Citrus and saline notes, as usual for the Kieselberg. It is not the most complex wine of Mosbacher, but I like its mineral straightness.

Citrus and minerals on the nose. Quite tart but still harmonious.

Very good balance, drink animating freshness, elegance, fine fruit of white and yellow drupes (Steinfrüchte), pineapple and green apple, perfect sweet acid play. Offers a lot of very classic Riesling drinking pleasure.

Tour VDP.GROSSE LAGE 2018 Vol.1 (Hotel Atlantic, Hamburg) : I have to admit: since a long time not having tasted this estate, cause it WAS somehow a bit mediocre, now changing my mind, back on the track, fine melting, really tasty on the palate, structured, an long elegant stonefruit appearance, *(**+ -), 90+ potential

Tasting of Georg Mosbacher's 2016 Riesling GGs. As a general observation: while the wines were good, I find they lack some of the specific differences in vineyard characteristics other Pfalz producers are able/keen to display. Slightly riper fruit, very mineral and bright, well balanced, good length, but rather linear. 90-91+

Quite deep golden yellow. Yellow fruit, honeyed florals, nuts and some petrol on the nose. Dry and medium bodied palate with some oiliness to it. Acidity that keeps on rising. Concentrated ripe peachy fruit. Chestnuts and almonds. Long finish. Round but crispy with aged charm - perhaps even more than a -06 should deliver? Rather nice, but a bit odd.
