Very high volatile acidity and not much else left; not really drinkable for pleasure and no improvement with a couple of hours of air.

65 CS, 25 Merlot, 7 CF, 3 PV Ruby hue, but not the darkest Bordeaux blend. Silky and elegant, good concentration both on nose and palate with aromas of cassis, plum, graphite, dark chocolate, leather, oak and a slight fresh hint of mint. Full bodied, silky M tannins, M acidity and lingering long finish.

This delivers good quality without being flashy. Currants, cherries and more exotic fruits mingle with new leather, smoke and pencil shavings. A value pick.

Primary red berry fruits, cherry, apricot, and not too much oak. The tannins are powdery, there's acidity to balance, and a cooling menthol-like finish. Have not tried many 2017s, but I much enjoyed the liveliness and freshness. Not sure how this will develop but worth a look in the moment.

Drank this tonight and it was definitely ready. Nice nose, black cherry, cassis, cedar, black tea. Very silky, plush, black cherry, cassis, black tea, not very tannic. Lacking in acidity for my palate

Really kind of surprised and impressed! First Pauillac in quite some time, first Pedesclaux, and first 2017. Really nice red fruit notes with some sharp graphite, but the point of impression was just how much underlying body there was. Just enough acidity to keep it fresh, but there really seemed to be this quiet, ruminative body that contained some savory notes and tannic structure. Went well with our beef daube (with bacon, rosemary, thyme, parsnips, shallots, garlic, and onion) and …

Nice black fruit on nose. Wine is decent. Tannins are there. Needs time.

Might have been a bit too old. Decanted for about an hour. Very nice on the nose but a bit watery on the palate with very little depth.

Dark red color, Very fruity on the nose with smell of ripe cherry, spices and currant. The taste is rather bold with hint of blanck current, ripe cherry. It is dry and bold with very present tannins. Nice long finish for a wine that is wery well made. I have a few more bottle that is will age a few more years.

Quite well-balanced young Bordeaux. Showing some maturity already. Dark berries, smooth. Not overly dominated by blackcurrants. Nice but not fantastic.

Blev dekanteret et par timer i forvejen. Vinen havde åbnet sig- mørk, fyldig og lang eftersmag. Brombær, cedertræ.

2017 blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Deep ruby color. Cassis, pencil lead, oak, licorice, some vanilla and warm spice on the nose. Medium-bodied. Blackcurrant, plum, blackberry with hints of stone minerals and iron on the palate. Medium+ tannins and acidity. A bit bone dry finish. Delicious now, can develop more or to keep 5-10 years.

Fully integrated, no fruit, film of joy. 2/3 of these have been great; one bad.

Not the best example of a Bordeaux. It never opens up. The acid is high and the taste is back of tongue No fruit, no forest, no aroma. Not a bad wine by any means; have it with a steak or chop, but not a typical Bordeaux from Pauillac. There are better.

A pleasant surprise for a 2017 Bordeaux. Very smooth from start to finish, just a slight turn to acidity in the finish. Ripe fruits, few and well integrated tannins. On the other hand, not a complex wine. Decanted 5h before drinking.

Deep ruby with purple rims, full bodied and strong tannins. Way too young to be fully appreciated. Black currants, tobacco leaf, licorice and cedar aromas.

Tasted on a Zoom function organised through BBR, with Jane Anson, Medium ruby. Dark fruits, plums blackberries, this is really good wine. I haven’t got any in the cellar, but after tonight’s tasting I will buy some.

The nose pops with black currant, tobacco leaf, licorice, cedar and forestry aromatics. On the palate, the wine displays freshness in the fruits and cream on the tannins. Medium/full bodied with a lot of black and red fruits, which carry through to the endnotes, this has both charm and age ability. The higher percentage of Cabernet adds complexity and character to the wine. Made from blending 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the wine …

IMW Bordeaux Tasting - 2013 Vintage (Hyatt, San Francisco) : Underripe fruit on the nose - like a bad Malbec. Riper palate than I expected, with some cassis and lots of ripe bell pepper. Tannic.

(Decanter FWE 2016) :: A lot of leather and mocha on the nose, with a dark fruit core and fairly linear expression. On the palate, drying tannin, a bit thin and touch tart. Meh.

Medium bodied and meant for early drinking, the wine is fresh, with a red berry, cedar and cherry tobacco character that carries through.

From 48% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc, the wine reached 12.96% alcohol. Cassis, earth and cherry aromas are accompanied by a medium-bodied wine with a spicy black cherry and herb profile that should be fun to taste early. 87-89 Pts
