Deep ruby in glass. Rich warm nose with dark fruit, vanilla, cedar, a bit of white pepper from the Syrah and something I am not used to but seems to be in a few Israeli wines and one reviewer described as lavender/ jasmine. Dry but with plenty of dark fruit on the palate, some alcohol heat (14.5% per label) reasonable acidity and smooth tannins.
