Deep ruby, almost inky. Perfumed nose featuring damson plum and black cherry accompanied by tar, licorice and aniseed aromas. Rounded with firm tannins and bright acidity. Youthful flavours linger through the long finish that displays additional violet notes and dry leaves.

16 barrels are made filling 4,000 bottles this time. Made from a mix of grapes sourced from Urla in the Aegean and Tekirdağ in Thrace. Aged for 22 months in 70% French and 30% American oak. 14,4% alcohol. Deep ruby with a brick rim at this stage. Rather reserved on the nose compared to the other Imperial wines in the line-up showing a herbaceous character along with black cherry and plum. Deep ruby, still keeping an inky tone. Bursting with opulent aromas of licorice, black currant and black cherry with undercurrents of mint. Rickly textured and almost chewy leaving a ripe, spirity aftertaste.
