Very dark cherry with herbal undertone. It's the backbone of this wine that's impressive. Bright acidity, even some voltatile (winemaker plays with it), minerality and beautiful sun tannins. The lenght and purity add to the class. Still a lot of life left in it. I'll keep my other bottles closed a while longer.

The first bouquet was dominated by old leather. That is usually a sign of an adequately aged wine, at the very least. Fortunately, the wine was "ready and willing" to deliver. I really like an inexpensive cdr like Parallel 45, and this was So Much More! A real bargain.

Interesting wine. Still has nice fruit and wine continued to evolve and change over the course of several hours with the nose increasing in intensity. Also paired well with smothered pork chops.

Dark red color. Drank 1 small glass (which was way more than enough) over way too long a time period. I tired to give this wine a fair shake, but it was not willing to cooperate. It was very similar to the bad bottle I had awhile ago. Nose has moldy damp earth, with an even more undesirable quality out front, stewed fruit. This wine is powerful, fruity and tannic. A sweet expressive nose. Red fruits and chalky tannins. No change whatsoever after 3 days under argon. I'm very happy with this $15 purchase.
