McLean's Farm Sémillon

{screwcap, 12.5%} Developing nose of grass and citrus, and clearly oak-free. The palate is dry, with a waxy texture accompanying the grassy-tinged yellow and vaguely citric fruit flavours. There's a little zesty acid, which doesn't really disguise the fairly straightforward nature of this simple but honest wine. Light-medium body, with a fairly short finish, it's a drink-now proposition.
