I had never heard of this wine until I bought half a case for literally next to nothing at auction. It is difficult to believe how young and vigorous this wine is. It took about an hour to begin to open; wonderful dark color, strawberries and cherries in the nose. A little light at midpalate, but plenty of fruit under the still youthful tannins. Decent finish. Decanted for 1.5 hours. Bouquet was very exciting but the taste was a little edgy. Perhaps needs a few more years in the bottle or more time in the decanter
