Straw. Nose was green apple, kiwi, gardenias, apple blossoms, lemon grass. This needed at least an hour to open up, and once it did, wow. Everyone enjoyed the Burgundian style. Flinty, with bright acids and clear structure. This was a fairly big wine that could have aged for another 5+ years. A truly great effort.

Yellow color with a lovely bouquet and flavor of pineapple and toast. Very good balance and definition with considerable finesse and quite a long finish. This wine was so much richer than many of the Flowers Chardonnays, as they tend toward the restrained style. Wonderful to drink. VVery different from the first bottle, which proves that are no wines, just bottles of wine.

Yellow color with a bouquet and flavor dominated by minerals and oak with no fruit in evidence. Probably over the hill. Flowers' wines are usually dumbed down and so are more susceptible to losing what fruit they have with cellaring.

Delicious big California style Chardonnay. After nearly five years there is a bouquet of spice, ripe pears and a hint of vanilla. In the mouth, there is fruit, some cream brûlée that is totally balanced with a juicy crisp follow through at the end. It all ends with wanting to take another drink to repeat again and again.
