This wine was rocket fuel. Totally unbalanced with alcohol burning at the back of the throat. The flavors I picked up prior to the self-immolation were actually quite nice--rich, dark cherry and plum fruit, nice oak level, good acidity and tannins. Excessive alcohol ruined it all for me, though. Whether this is the same wine reviewed by others, who knows, as this is a NV wine. It was purchased in Oct/2010. Would not buy again but am curious to try …

For the price and pared with food not a bad wine. The nose is light and hard to detect fruit from earth scents. Medium body and stark tannin but a decent finish. Considering the price I did not expect a very complex but a good drinker.

Served with Filet Mignon. Very rich, pepper good. Do again.

Hard to pin this one down. Not really a bdx. blend, more assertive and a bit harsh with a bitter coffee vibe that I really didn't appreciate. Tannins out of balance. Would not buy again.

Tasty, but quite oaky. Great price.

Decent wine, alot of oak, not a whole lot of fruit. It's a decent blend at the price, but I would pay a whole lot more for it. Their higher end stuff is much better.

Nice wine. no notes - a lot of fruit but it had a nice structure of tannins & acidity to balance the wine - drinking nicely now.

Exceptional! Non-vintage blending of pretty much everything but the kitchen sink (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Barbera, Cabernet Franc) consisting of mostly 2006/2007 fruit with a bit of 2004/2008. Dark purple color. Light violet nose. Beautifully layered palate with flavors of cherries, dark berries, light spice, and chocolate. Smooth medium length finish. Great acidity and tannins in this very young wine –will greatly benefit from additional aging. Exceptional QPR – one of the very best Washington red values …

Pop and pour - a very drinkable red with excellent QBR. Dark, silky but with some tannins for contrast. Better the 2nd day, lost it's edge on the 3rd day.

This used to be a good low price syrah blend, now that it's gained some exposure it's not so cheap anymore so the price versus value isn't quite as good, getting into the $20 range puts this up against too much competition for the quality. If I could buy it for 12-15 I'd do so.

Pop and pour, reserving half the bottle in an empty 375 for later tasting. Early on this was dominated by oak and wrapped up with a brief finish. Over an hour the oak and its spiciness dissipated, though still present, and the wine added some weight and depth. While I received this bottle as a gift, the online pricing I'm seeing at $16-18/bottle makes this a great value wine. Day two - The half bottle that was filled upon opening …

Ho hum. To acidic for my tastes. Medium finish. Probably better with food.
