A gorgeous wine with subdued, balanced, and crunchy cranberry fruit with a barely perceptible Burgundian funkiness to the aroma. This is a study in graceful winemaking...the tannins are low, the acidity is in balance, the extract is moderate, and it seems the minimal sulfur dose was spot-on as this has just enough of a feral edge to complement the fruit without overwhelming it. Not sure how this will age but her wines at Bibei seemed to hold together for 5-8 …
