Wild and beguiling mix of demerara, black tar with dried lace and deep soul. Old floral balm edges. Fruit is masked into fantastical frame. A little short on the finish, but ultimately still a wonderful wine.

Shortly decanted and allowed to open for half an hour. Dark ruby colored with thick, slow legs. Alcohol was first shown in aroma then some dark fruits, plums, hint of acidity and an earthy note. Flavor was extremely well balanced, dry, acidic, even a bit sweet, fruity with pleasant note of wood and dry earth. Full bodied, long, tannic, satisfying aftertaste.
