Still quite dark and fresh. Classic Bordeaux aromas though on the ripe side dispute only 12.9% alcohol. Wet rocks. Pretty deep sappy texture. Soft. Some dried fruits and a very long finish. Not at all about the fruit so doubt it will get any better.

Should have been great, but it is past its prime. Soft tannins with nice old cab flavors.

On the nose, this presented nothing special, but on the palate - POW! Super-rich fruit, layers for sweet berries with an uncommon depth. Tannins well integrated - mostly just a hedonistic drink of warm berry pie. Couldn't stop topping off the glass.

Maderized. Otherwise, this is decent juice.

Decanted 3 hours. Nose of tobacco and dust. The palate was creamy, tobacco, and earth. Slight heat on the finish, but greatly improved. Several years left in the life of this bottle.

Pop & pour. Still tannic an hour later. Compared to the last bottle 18 months ago, it remains tannic/acidic, some masked fruit. Not sure if this will resolve with time or if it'll always be tight. Disappointing.

Initial pour was acidic, tannic, not revealing much. Drinking the bottle over 5 hours got better & better with each glass. Needs a decant, or better yet more cellar time. Last glass offered softer, aged fruit, a very nice 8-year old CA Cab wine, though still tannins to resolve.

Highly structured Cabernet with great intensity and plenty of tannins to be resolved. This wine will be even better in two or three years.

Great wine with dark fruit, vanilla, chocolate, and coffee notes. Did not decant.

Excellent nose of chocolate and berries. Decanted for a couple of hours. Very smooth, nice mouth feel. A little of tobacco further into the decant.

Disappointing, expected more of everything - color, nose, taste, finish.

Nice sweet oak on nose and palate, with good fruit and finish.
