Kinda suffered thru this over several nights, mostly because the lack of fruit made it hard to quaff. Few years over the hill in that regard. Savory side was fine & still humming... so if that's your jam, these still might be in an OK place for you.

Nice nose with black fruit but a bit hot (blew off). Sharp tannins that linger as dry covering, good fruit if hinting at jam. Maybe it will mellow with more time open... a little rough now

Wish I had more to drink right now, tastes robust. I get a slightly smokey and leathery flavor. Color had become muted.

Still going strong from my cellar (professional storage, though). Lovely wine and a great QPR. Held up well for >24 hours corked, but I wouldn't wait too long on these.

Final of six from the now-defunct winery. Hot blue, cola, pepper, sage and underbrush notes. Blue fruit, earth and ash in the nose. Time to drink

This wine is beautiful---color, nose and palate. I was unimpressed at first, after decanting and waiting a few hours. Was tight. So gave it another day. Wow. What a difference. Complexity, balance, mouth feel, long finish---it's all there. Glad I have another bottle---this will be my New Years Eve wine.

Inky dark purple, nose of cedar and plums. Dry, bold fruit and body, really getting the Cab Franc vegetative green pepper notes and soft Merlot. Aged very well into a nicely balanced not over the top fruit forward wine. My last bottle, but could go many years. One of those $18 winners from Garagiste which only got better with age. Per usual with these wines, some air helps immensely. Only ope a couple hours and marked improvement. the third night …

Dark ruby red with dusty cherry nose. Dry tart tannins with a couple hours open time. Medium fruit and body, has shown some restraint with 10 yeas age and developed nicely and well balanced with a slight acid focus followed by nicely integrated chewy tannins. Some earthy notes, leather to enhance the cherry fruit. Needs a goood BBQ steak or roast duck to make whole.

Washington fruit but felt a bit fading. Drink 1-2 years

Dark ruby with magenta rim, cedar nose. Dry and bold fruit, bing cherries, loganberries, some tartness and heavy oak on opening with slight bitter tannins on the finish. A bit much for my present palate, but it usually settles in over a couple of days. Strong appeal for those liking a bold, oaky red. This should last for ages. A night later and it has lost some of the fruit and taken on more acid. While I would not call …

Paired with a big steak. Strong, bold wine that has aged well over time. I sensed some oak, cassis, smoke and a little pepper.

This was almost a tease. After finishing the last of my bottles, I found one at my mother in laws house. Certainly not stored properly, this showed no worse for the wear. Loads of black cherry, red fruit, some leather and earth. Medium tannin and medium+ acidity, this bottle presented as young, but riper than I remember. Medium+ finish, this is excellent! Probably my best all time qpr.

Felt just a tad ripe with blueberry, tar, oak and tannic qualities that are still very potent given age. I think this will start to show significant drops in fruit versus tannin. Probably drink 1-3 years.

Last bottle of this fine red blend. Blackberry and black currant, some herbs, good acidity, fine tannins. Drank very well.

Better than previous bottles as the oak was less pronounced but still significant. Very ripe and lush for a WA wine with lower acidity too. Those who like rich Napa blends will appreciate this.

Well developed rich red. Agree with past notes , blows away many wines in the 50 to 80 range

Two years since my last bottle and this is drinking nicely. Aromas of black cherry and blackberry, licorice and herbs. The palate has dark fruit and herbs. Medium tannins/acid and again a spicy finish. Should last at least through its 10th birthday if not longer.

Sad to see my last bottle go :( Smooth, easy drinker as usual, but showing a rapid decline by the second day.

Dark berries, with touches of leather, tobacco and earth. Medium bodied. Good balance between rich fruit, well integrated tannins, a bit of sappy bitterness, and good tart acidity. Enjoyable.

Big wine, quite fruit forward, but good acidity. Think this will continue to improve with age, perhaps gain better balance. Wait a year or two.

Catching up on inventory so no notes to share. This bottle was consistent with the previous, still seems a little disjointed in places but overall it's still very enjoyable. The last bottle is going to sit for a couple of years just to see how the story turns out.

Sadly, my last bottle. Wonderful fruit with vibrant acidity and balanced tannins. This was decanted for 2 hours and did not suffer.Medium finish with more red fruit and leather. I really wish this was still available. Maybe my all time QPR. DAY 2: Really showing secondary flavors today. Leather, earth and delicious fruit with great balance. It was a good run.

Sadly, my last bottle of Nicholas Cole. Short on tasting notes, but very enjoyable Bordeaux blend, this is a pretty well balanced and integrated bottle at this point.

C: Noticeable bricking. N: Very complex. Leather, dark chocolate and black cherry. P: Black cherry, leather, dark chocolate, shoe box and earth. F: Medium+ with moderate complexity. This showed like a $50 bottle of Bordeaux. 92+
