Matanzas Creek Winery Chardonnay Journey

Popped and poured, on the nose get a lot of pear (some people said Asian pear, but I don't have enough experience with Asian pears to know the difference), as well as some yellow apple. Flavors are similar with some vanilla. Mild acidity for a white, was pleased that the oak treatment on this was light, nice.

A really nice bottle of chardonnay served with Sunday night Sushi. White flowers on the nose. The palate was peaches, melon a touch of kiwi and the perfect amount of oak to keep it in balance.
