Naggiar Vineyards Mourvèdre

Tastes like cherry pie, lots of red berry fruit and a hint of vanilla and soice

Deep garnet red semi-transparent, but dark. The nose purple florals, wet grass, and red fruit and berries. Maybe some plum? The frontal attack has much more plum and spice. Bottle says hint of cinnamon, and I would concur. It offer a lot fruit, and the tannins are very fine, which I have not always found in Calif Mourvedre. A very nice Rhone ranger, and a very nice change from our typical Syrah type blends. Very small batch 100 cases.
