Very tasty. Medium length on the finish. Didn’t take notes so just summarizing what I remember . Drank over 3 days. Still held up. Sweet dark fruits on the nose , not as sweet dark fruits on the palate. Pretty soft tannings and the acidity stayed present throughout . Surprisingly good . Better than i expected for sure. There was a lil bit of spice and a hint of tart.

Pop n pour. No decant. Stored at 55 degrees. Let it sit in the glass for about 20 min. Let it warm a lil. Deep reddish purple color but you can see some light ruby red coming from the lip. It’s trying to show a lil bit of age. Lil bit of alcohol on the nose , nose dominated by fruit . Palate shows a lil bit of heat after you swallow , fruit dominate and a nice blend of …

Dinner with friends at Roia - decanted for an hour. What a nose! If there's one descriptor that captures it all, I'd say it is tamarind. Fine grained tannins, yet can hold up to Indian food. High ABV (16!) creates heat at the back of the palette. Alas my last bottle. My previous score still holds

Opened for a virtual tasting. Day one decant, plenty of chaotic opening notes. Day 2 settled and decadent. Advise a 6 hr slow ox and enjoy now!

This beauty hits the scale at 16.1 alc. 1 hour decant shows a delicious Cabernet. So much richness. Dark fruit, mint and earth. A nice 45 second finish. This juice has 10 more years left.🍇

Wow. Opened for Valentines Day, wonderful wine! Still plenty of fruit up front, but integrated really well with tannins, great balance and structure. Probably has at least another 2-3 years, though not sure it will get any better.

Aired for 3 hours. Whoa! What a knockout. Beautiful with red and dark fruit, tannins fully resolved, well-judged acidity and long finish. Prances on the palette. Only complaint was that I found the finish a little hot.

Opened about 1hr early and decanted. Paired with Filet's. Thought the 2017 would have been less tannic and would open up more. Sadly disappointed in this IR.

Decanted for ~1 hour prior to drinking, needed the time to open. Medium tannins that tempered with time, vinilla with chocolate and oak notes, hints of blackberry, dark fruits and cherry. Needs a bit more time in the bottle.

A little gem we brought across country in 2014, this had a perfect bleed and is just as phenomenal as we had anticipated. Deep ruby red with predominant ripe blue and red fruit, medium oak and subtle green pepper, light spice. Tannins for days.

Big, rich ample Napa cab blend with lush red, blue and black fruits. Not hot or overextracted. I think the 5% Malbec, 3% Cab Franc, and 2% Merlot give it a touch of extra depth and character. Drinking well now but has a good 5-10 years ahead of it. 15% abv.

Ready to drink today. This was my last bottle out of 6 that I was privileged to have. Fruit was present, and would of been great with food. Overall, this is the best wine that Justin has produced, well at least for this vintage. Cheers

People always ask us why do we pay that price for wine, and why we cellar them for 5 or so years. This was a great reason. Excellent bottle of Bordeaux blend and my wife loved it! Enough said.

Good bottle. Still needs time to decant and good hold for another 2-3 years. The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like raspberry, strawberry jam, cherry, pomegranate and vanilla. It tastes like pepperish plum, cherry, oak and clove. The body is medium. The wine has coarse texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

Dark fruit predominates on the nose - a touch of mint, a touch of graphite as well. Well-balanced on the palate. Blackberry finish. This wine always delivers. If you can get it, it is a sure bet.

Darker brick color with lots of fade; aromatic, stewed strawberries, pot pouri-dried flowers, dried leaves, touch of cherry pie; mouth is silky but lighter weight, very low tannins--mostly resolved; high acidity, sweet-tart cherry, tangy finish. This is not holding as well as I thought it would. A little more pleasant after a few sips as your mouth gets accustomed to the high acidity, and finally feels quite elegant. Good provenance and excellent fill level. 89-90
