Angel Vine Primitivo

Very succulent with enough big juicy and bold berry fruit to equalize the acidity. Glad I held this as long as I did. No need to hurry this along.

Excellent value ($15.). A perfect food wine. Loads of upfront fruit followed by sweet tannins.

Creamy texture and vibrantly colored ruby. Nose of raspberries, strawberries, and cocoa. Nice but there was an interesting note which I can't put my finger on which detracted from the overall experience.

The wine is magenta in color. Fragrant aromas of red fruits and flowers. The wine is lush and jammy with hints of strawberries, raspberries and pepper. The wine tails off ever so slightly on the finish.

Really enjoyed this wine a lot, more than I was expecting and more than most zinfandel style wines. Nice meaty, herbal and berry based nose and flavors. Good acidity and weight on this wine. Substantial without being heavy. I could see myself reaching for this a lot over the coming months as the weather cools off. For $19 it's a no brainer.

Bright cherry, baking spices and herbal aromas. Bright flavors-offering purity of fruit; this is clean with red and blue fruit, hints of earth and spice. All primary flavors here, this is a straight forward wine with ample acidity & works well with food. Drink now.
