A great deal of wood on the nose. Perhaps too much. Manifesting itself as a mixture of smoke and cedar. The fruit aromas are predominantly of lime and coconut. Its been some time since we crossed paths with this elegant Tequila. Its a bit on the obvious side with the pronounced vanilla from the cask age, smoky and with a soft caramel feel. A soft kiss of spice too on the finish. Good sipping tequila but maybe a bit too much wood for the purists.

Notes with more than five years. Aged tequila served in short glass of whiskey. Aged thirty months in American oak. Complex aromas of green pepper with red fruits and sweet and spicy spices. In the mouth it has a velvet texture that accompanies intense chocolate-orange flavors and an eternal persistence. Simply deep and delicious. Tasted blind we would struggle to place it as the age in barrel here adds a totally different dimension. Very smoky, caramel feel and very smooth almost too smooth. soft spice, toffee touches and so nice to be sipped slowly.

Aged and full of elegance, smoky, caramel toffee notes, well round and drinks very nicely neat or with a touch of ice. Light spicy edge soft , well round and very welcoming.

I guess Tequila could be better, but I don't know how. Tasted in low ball glass with a touch of ice. Agave, smoke, and lots of woody aromas; flavors of butterscotch, agave, some citrus, wood char/charcoal, and mixed spices. Finish is lonnnnngggg with some heat but overall very smooth. Intensely complex and though expensive at ~$100US/bottle, this really is a bargain.

I'm not much of a Tequila Aficionado but this is by far the best tequila I have ever had. No more tequila burning my throat as it goes down. This stuff is as smooth as I've ever tasted. 98 points as I imagine there is something better, but not that I have had to this point.

Aroma - The smell is simply wonderful. Agave, butterscotch, vanilla and fruit. Maybe the best nose of any tequila out there. Taste - All of the flavors mix together with the sweetness, fruit and wood with a mild alcohol burn. Finish - Wonderful taste long after it's gone and SO smooth.
