Brought this to a gathering with old ECA mates tonight. Had 2 other bottles from Ernie Els Wines (Ernie Els Proprietor's Blend and Ernie Els Merlot) before and they were both enjoyable. Expectations of this wine was naturally high. Sharp, focus acidity was present in this wine with a long, lingering spicy finish that is characteristic of Shiraz.
