Pianbello Loazzolo Vendemmia Tardiva "Pianbè"

Light golden colour, with varietal muscat grapiness with lemon/honey in support on the nose. Rich palate that initially falls away quickly yet fans out on the classy/complex apricot-led finish. Perky acidity keeps the richness / sweetness / viscosity in line. Very impressive. Closer to a Muscat de Beaumes de Venise than any other wine I can think of, except showing none of the bitterness / burn that fortification brings those wines.
