Very nice wine. Showed citrus notes on the palate with a bit of peach fuzz lingering on the lips. Medium length finish with a hint of cucumber.

Another excellent bottle of this with a virtually identical tasting note to my last one. Excellent tension, minerality, freshness and great balance of RS and acidity. Love this!

A good bottle of this. But I don't get the hype for some of the feinherbs from Falkenstein. I still buy them and am aging them in hopes. But I generally prefer their kabs and spats. 2020 definitely seems to be an earlier drinking vintage, but I seem to prefer 19/21.

Really stellar, one of my favorites this vintage. Just off-dry, quite minerally and great complexity, richness of body of a Spatlese without the heaviness, lemon-lime; finish is long. This is stellar, balanced, enjoyable, food friendly. 95

Another beautiful showing of this. Still pretty primary, but it might have settled down a little bit. Contrary to the warm season, this has a decidedly cool, character with notes of grapefruit, some lemon peel, white peach, minty leafy notes, some herbal notes. There is also a slightly musky mineral note of oystershell, wet stone, too. Pale yellow; aromatic, slate, sea breeze, lemon-lime; palate is medium bodied, richly textured, barely off dry, low alcohol, balanced medium-plus acidity, lemon-lime fruit; medium length finish. This has a bit more richness than typical, probably the year plus the spatlese ripeness, but well balanced and lovely. 94

Holy moly this was showing beautifully compared to the 2021 I had some months ago! Amazingly fruity and zesty nose with lemon, lime, grapefruit, greengage, white peach, some green tropicals and green apple. No honey or anything like that - just fruity and flowery! Palate was the absolutely perfect off-dry style... All sweetness coming from the fruits. Perfectly green and crisp for my taste with a slight sweetness to bind it all together. Pale green-yellow; high intensity aromatics with lime, slate, minerals; palate is explosive with perfect off-dry balance, lemon-lime, some slate minerality, vibrant medium-plus acidity, good depth, balanced 9% alcohol; finish is long. Opened a 2nd bottle in an attempt to get a note on this wine. The bottle has been out for a while and the wine has warmed up. Light and airy nose of lime, lime peel, powdered stone, green herbs or grass and a touch of sponti-cumin. Very elegant and precise. Maybe a touch of mint. Palate is light and elegant as well - very crisp with clean lines, lime, stones, green, cumin, mint - good acid and lift on …

Pop and pour. Very good after a little air. A bit rounder and lacking the razor sharp precision of the nearly perfect '19, but this is a solid vintage.

I just received my 2020s and thought it was good idea to check in on some of them. First slightly reticent, needs a moment in the glass and some air to reveal a little more. This is showing a cool, almost icy character with notes of grapefruit, lemon peel, white peach, mint, herbal notes too, there is also a slighty „musky“ note of oysterhell, wet stone, also some lactic notes, too.
