Tart fruit, tasty, lots of sediment but it was light, didn’t register on the tongue. Thoroughly enjoyed but very different.

Enjoyable, but pretty high VA, definitely “vivant” with interesting flavors, tart fruit, and a bunch of tannic structure. Not sure how this will age to be honest.

I opened this bottle in October. Can't remember the day. It had sat upright in my 55 degree cellar open, sans bouchon. Tonight I coaxed out the last 6oz: Was not clear. Let sit upright for 3 months. Assumed that it was clear. Opened and poured but was NOT clear. The bulk of the sediment started to show only after 1 glass too. Bright and less savory on day 1, earthy fresh red berry pomegranate nose and creamy bodied persimmon-horchata-like mouthfeel mid palate with some hints of leather and anise on the finish…reminded me of of a darker more serious version of Bodega Chacra Sin Azufre pinot noir. More depth and savory elements than the Back Grin grignolino, but this doesn't at all seem like nebbiolo. I would peg this as an austere "low intervention" Beaujolais... which, for a Nebbiolo is a serious downgrade. Fragrant, but again, doesn't smell like Nebbiolo. Cloudy, bright. Candy cherry, bright acid, straight and grippy tannin, very nice and fun.
